I am happy to note the efforts of Academia and Industry for developing technologies in Public Private Partnership model through Telecom Centres of Excellence India (TCOE India). It is notable that TCOE India strategy has been to undertake industry driven research through a competitive process. It surely has the potential of providing the right impetus to Hon'ble Prime Minister's Make in India' and 'Digital India' vision.
I urge the ICT industry including telecom sector to take full advantage of this platform to come out with innovative products and services to make the Indian Telecommunication sector as one of the most advanced and affordable in the world.
I wish TCOE India all the very best to bring in a R&D revolution in the country.
