Established on 25th July 2024 at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) Goa Campus, this Centre of Excellence under TCOE India is dedicated to advancing telecom cybersecurity research and capacity building. Located at India's premier institution for forensic sciences, the sub-centre uniquely combines expertise in digital forensics, cybersecurity, and telecommunications to address emerging threats in the digital communication landscape.
The centre focuses on developing cutting-edge solutions for malware detection and mitigation, building comprehensive threat intelligence repositories, and strengthening India's cyber resilience through targeted capacity-building programs. With strong emphasis on protecting critical national infrastructure, the sub-centre plays a vital role in safeguarding India's telecom ecosystem from evolving cyber threats.
AI-Driven Malware Detection Development of advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for real-time detection, classification, and mitigation of telecom-specific malware threats.
Telecom Malware Repository Building comprehensive databases of telecom malware samples for research, analysis, and development of effective countermeasures and security solutions.
Cyber Resilience & Security Research on strengthening cyber resilience of telecom networks, secure communication frameworks, and protection strategies for critical infrastructure.
